Loyola
Academy Jesuits host juniors and seniors for discussion about vocations
Thursday, April 04, 2002
65
invitations were sent out to junior and senior boys at LA identified
by the Jesuit community as potential Jesuits. The community invited
them to come and talk about the possibility of a vocation to the
Society, as well as offering free food, always a must with high
school students!
About
25 students responded to the invitation and gathered together for
good discussion and sharing. Students were asked how they felt about
being invited to the meeting and the top responses were “surprised,”
and “honored” – no one expressed any negative
feelings about being invited.
