Bill
Blazek, Matt Couture, Chris Dierkes, and Mike Shawver visit province
high schools during annual vocation tour
Thursday, April 04, 2002
(From
L to R) Dr. William Blazek, Jr., Matthew Couture, Michael Shawver,
and Christopher Dierkes in the library at Loyola House in Berkley,
MI.
The annual Vocation Week tour by the first-year novices took place
from March 10-17. This series of visits to prvovince high schools
has a two-fold purpose: to give the novices an opportunity to share
their experiences of vocation (and hopefully plant a few vocation
“seeds”) and to get better acquainted with the communities
and men of the province.
Bill
Blazek, Chris Dierkes and Mike Shawver, all Chicago province novices,
visited four of the five high schools in the province and spoke
to a variety of students about their vocational choice. The fourth
Chicago novice, Matt Couture, went on a similar tour through the
Detroit Province high schools.
