God
our Creator and Lord,
You are glorified and honored and
ever waiting to be found in the beauty
and mystery of all creation.
Help
us to come to our senses.
For we live more and more in a world
that needs vision, compassion,
healing, forgiveness and your peace,
a peace our world does not understand,
a peace our world can not give.
Bless
the Society of Jesus with vocations,
companions who can open the world to
the awe and wonder of your Incarnation,
to the awe and wonder of your
willingness to be Emmanuel -
God with us in all things and all places,
wherever two or more can be gathered
to say "Thanks" or to be reconciled.
Send
us artists and musicians,
architects and poets,
astronomers, biologists,
physicists and chemists,
mathematicians and economists,
linguists, historians and psychologists,
philisophers and theologians,
healers and dreamers and, above all,
passionate, spirit filled lovers.
We
ask this in the name
of the one through whom,
with whom and in whom all exists
and finds its goodness,
Jesus Christs our Lord.
