Fr. Richard J. Baumann, SJ, served as Provincial of the Chicago
Province from 1997 to 2003. During his six-year tenure, Fr. Baumann
helped launch a number of innovative ministries designed to better
the serve the poor and the young. He also spearheaded an effort
to establish a set of apostolic priorities for the Province.
